Strawberry Champagne Ice Cream

Nothing says New Years, like champagne. For this ice cream though, we wanted to take it to the next level, so we added strawberries for a fresh, sweet addition, to welcome in the New Year. This ice cream has a frostier consistency to reflect the refreshing cool flavor of champagne and strawberries.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup Crema Lusso

  • 1/2 Cup Frozen Strawberries

  • ¼ Cup Sugar

  • 2 tsps Champagne

  • Optional: Metallic Sprinkles

INGREDIENTS:

For the Champagne Ice Cream Base

Add the Crema Lusso mixture to a mason jar.

Add in the champagne. Use a spoon to stir the mixture together until combined.

Pour the champagne ice cream mixture into a plastic container. Put the lid on and place the ice cream mixture in the freezer for at least four hours or until completely frozen.

Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!

For Strawberry Champagne Ice Cream

Defrost your strawberries, so they are soft.

Add the sugar to the strawberries and use a fork to mix the sugar into the strawberries, so they are mashed.

Add the strawberries to a food processor and whirl them a few times until they are a puree.

Add the Crema Lusso mixture to a mason jar.

Add in the champagne. Use a spoon to stir the mixture together.

Add the Crema Lusso and Champagne to the food processor. Give the food processor one or two whirls, just enough to combine the Crema Lusso with the strawberries.

Pour the Strawberry champagne mixture into a plastic container. Put the lid on and place the ice cream mixture in the freezer for at least four hours or until completely frozen.

Once frozen, scoop and top with metallic sprinkles.

Enjoy!
