Caramelized Walnut Chocolate Chunk Ice Cream

INGREDIENTS:

  • ​​1 Cup Crema Lusso

  • 1/4 Cup Walnuts

  • 1/4 Cup Sugar

  • 1 Tbsp Milk Chocolate, chopped

  • 3 Tbsps Caramel Sauce

INSTRUCTIONS:

Add the sugar and walnuts to a medium saucepan, on medium low heat. Stirring constantly, mix the sugar and walnuts together until the sugar melts and covers the walnuts in a caramel glaze. Remove from the heat as soon as the walnuts are covered in the melted sugar.

Cover a plate with parchment paper and transfer the walnuts to the parchment paper to let cool.

Once the walnuts have cooled, use a knife to chop them up.

Add the Crema Lusso to a mason jar. Put the lid on the jar and shake the ice cream mixture for 30 seconds to combine the ingredients.

Pour the walnut ice cream mixture into a mini loaf tin or plastic container.

Sprinkle the chopped chocolate onto the ice cream mixture.

Drizzle the caramel sauce across the top of the ice cream mixture.

Cover the container and place it in the freezer. Freeze for at least 4 hours or until it’s completely frozen.

Once frozen, scoop and enjoy!
