Macaron Stack with Brown Sugar Rum Gelato
For Ice Cream:
Crema Lusso
2 cups
Dark Rum
1 tbsp, or to taste
Light Brown Sugar
½ cup packed
Vanilla
½ tsp
Chocolate Macarons

Over medium heat, combine all ingredients, making sure to melt the brown sugar until fully dissolved. Cool in refrigerator for 2 or more hours. Pour mixture into ice cream machine and follow manufacturer’s churning recommendations. Once churned, serve immediately or store in freezer-safe airtight container. To serve, with small scooper, scoop out in balls and sandwich between chocolate macarons. Repeat. Yields 5-8 stacks.
