Spicy Mexican Frappe/Shake

Ingredients:

Crema Lusso

2.5 quarts


Cocoa Powder

½ cup


Finely Ground Cinnamon

1 tsp


Pinch, to taste

Ground Cayenne


Ice (chilled frappe only)

Handful


Milk (frozen shake only)

Splash


Instructions:

In a large bowl whisk the cocoa, cinnamon and cayenne together until well blended. In a mixing bowl, add Crema Lusso and whisk in cocoa powder in batches, blending until well-incorporated. Then follow below instructions for chilled frappe or frozen shake.

Chilled frappe: Cover bowl and place in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Remove from refrigeration, uncover and whisk gently. Pour 8 ounces of mixture in blender, add ice (optional) and blend until frothy. Serves 1-2.

Frozen shake: Pour mixture into ice cream or gelato machine and churn as per manufacturer instructions. Once churned, use immediately or for best results, freeze in freezer-safe airtight container overnight. Remove from freezer and add 3 to 4 scoops into blender. Add milk and blend until desired thickness is achieved. Serves 1-2.
