Banana Almond Flax Overnight Oats

Oat mixture:

Ripe Banana, medium

1


Old Fashioned Oats

1 cup


Crema Lusso

6 oz.


Coconut Nectar or Maple Syrup

3 tbsp


Himalayan Sea Salt

1 generous pinch


For layering:

Ground Flaxseed

4 tbsp


Creamy Almond Butter

2 heaping tbsp


Toppings:

Sliced banana

Chopped almonds

Coconut nectar or maple syrup


Directions:

In a small bowl, mash the banana with the back of a fork till smooth. Blend in oats, Crema Lusso, coconut nectar/maple syrup and salt.

Using a 1/2 cup measuring cup, layer the oat mixture into a 20-oz hermetic jar. Layer oat mix, 2 tbsp flaxseed and top with a swirl of 1 heaping tbsp of almond butter. Repeat. Top with remaining oat mixture (approx 1/4 cup). Close and place in the fridge overnight (6-8 hours approx).

Remove from the fridge, top with sliced banana and roughly chopped almonds and a drizzle of coconut nectar/maple syrup. Enjoy straight out of the jar!
